<p>Yes! Definitely have a training session the day before. I know one older HAM whose </p>
<p>General license has lapsed. Since he got his license a long, long time ago, he would definitely need a refresher (and some encouragement) before taking the test. He didn't even consider taking it this year.</p>

last year. I think that this needs more promotion, and a whole HAM<br>
track and training the previous day to drive traffic to the testing.<br>

We had only 12 candidates, who took a total of 17 exams.<br>
<br>
Nobody who came in to upgrade their license passed their exam.<br>
<br>
We had 8 new Tech licenses out of the session and one new General<br>
class licensee out of the exam.<br>
