<p>Unless there is a specific technical requirement or objection, I
would prefer to use the Qt QML platform. It will allow us to have
a single code-base for all OS's, we can integrate java, swift, obj
c, python, javascript and C++ libraries into the app if we need to
and the community version is open source. Qt is used extensively
throughout the Linux community and is widely supported. It's not
quite as well known for mobile applications, but I fully believe
in QML for multi-platform applications.<br>

<p>Hey everyone!</p>
<p>I understand there is a conversation starting
about replacing Guidebook in favor of a SCaLE
mobile app. I'm just getting started doing
mobile apps and I'd like to volunteer to work
on that project as it would make a great
portfolio piece for me. I did some development
work on the A/V camera control system for this
past SCaLE and I have some ideas on how to we
can do something great for this project as
well. Let me know what you think!<br>
