This is about the time of year when I start promoting SCALE and encourage folks to submit to the CFP and volunteer.  

Are there any new topics or special volunteer needs or events to highlight for SCALE 16x?

Next Thursday, I'm going to try to get on the schedule of our internal developer meetup at work.  I'm always trying to get my colleagues to participate and attend.

We also have our SGVLUG meeting next Thursday; since the topic is Rust, we may pull in folks from outside our normal membership.

Pasadena Connect Week is Oct 13-22, so that's a good time to network and promote SCALE, too.
