Hello,

You are receiving this message as a follow-up to our earlier message with
title “Amazon Aurora MySQL 1 (with MySQL 5.6 compatibility) will reach end
of life on February 28, 2023” sent on December 08, 2022. The original
message provided an incorrect notice period of 4 months against the actual
3 months.

Amazon Aurora MySQL 1 (with MySQL 5.6 compatibility) will reach end of life
on February 28, 2023. Given the remaining duration of less than 3 months
now, we recommend you to prioritize upgrading your database cluster(s). You
can find additional information needed to plan your upgrade including a
detailed timeline with milestones in our documentation [1].

The clusters we identified as affected are listed in your 'Affected
resources' tab of your AWS Health Dashboard. You may also find clusters
affected by this deprecation notice by referring to the following user
guide [2].

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to AWS Support [3].
