Silicon Valley Code Camp is a great event.  I've been one of the organizers

Valley College on Sat/Sun Oct 1-2.  Top speakers include Douglas Crockford
on JavaScript, Les Hazlewood on Securing APIs,  Deborah Kurata on Angular,
Siamak Ashrafi on Android Mobile, Randy Scovil on Swift and Playgrounds,
Chris Richardson on Microservices, Steven Chamberlin on IBM’s Watson, Sara
Ford on developer tools, Doris Chen on web performance tools,  and over 150

putting on a Hackathon for Non-Profits at PayPal Town Hall.  You can build
really cool solutions that will be used by NPO’s, government organizations
and others.  Prizes awarded up to 5K so don’t miss it.  Karma value is high
