[Scale-planning] Linksys / Belkin Contacts?

I've been looking at the linksys WRT1900/1200/3200 devices over the last couple 
of years with an eye on using them. Unfortunantly they have interpreted the FCC 
concerns about people hacking devices to increase their output (and cause 
interference) as a mandate to make it impossible to adjust the output power at 
all, so you can't even decrease their output power.This means that they are not 
suitable for use at Scale (they are pretty nice devices otherwise, except that 
they have announced them as opensource and then not released the source for a 
year plus after the devices started shipping)
