[Scale-planning] Intro and volunteering

Hi,

My name's Juan Natera, I work as a Systems Analyst (LAMPerl), but I
can do PHP as well, I wanted to volunteer to the technical committee.

I have to admit having an ulterior motive though, I would like to
someday help bring YAPC (Yet Another Perl Conference) to SoCal, so if
you don't mind, and seeing how successful SCALE has been, I'd like to
see how you do things around here.
