250Mb connection. fiber to the facility

wndr3800 and wndr3700v2, the same APs described in the articles, just more of
them

I'd have to check the logs for this. We had ~3500 unique devices connect during
the show.

mostly along the floor. most rooms have one ethernet jack in them and we run
from there to a switch, two drops for AV, one for the speaker to use, and 2-8
for access points

> What type of switches were used in 2016?

mostly HP

most of this is available at:

http://pasadenacenter.visitpasadena.com/facility/

the layout varies year to year, depending on how we use rooms, etc.

Yes, vendors, registration desk, speakers, etc

I believe that we maxed things out at times, there were also bottlenecks in the
network (some deliberate).

I don't have an exact figure, one of the things we do need to do before next
year is sort/test/count all the cables and probably make some new ones. A couple
years ago we were at multiple miles of cables being run, but this year we didn't
run a wire to every booth, only those who asked for it (which turned out to be
about half, but some of those were only asking because wifi wasn't up yet)
