The general consensus on both -planning and -chairs has been to keep things to the mailing list, so I've gone ahead and disabled the Discussions.

This is my primary concern. Between mailing lists, discord and slack we already have conversations happening in 3 places. I'm not excited. about a 4th.
I would agree... if anything was happening in on -planning or discord.
Why don't we wait and see if there's a problem before prematurely solving it?
