[help wanted] adding SCALE to local calendars

Hello, With SCALE coming up in February now is a great time to make sure we're listed on all the local event calendars. Since theres quite a few of them, help would be appreciated. We've compiled a list of places we normally post here: https://github.com/socallinuxexpo/SCALE-Planning/issues/248 Your help would be appreciated. The Next Generation programming

Hi all, I'm participating in some STEM activities and events aimed at high school and younger kids. It'd be a good opportunity to promote TNG programming or develop activities for TNG. Who is involved in TNG, and can we have a meeting? One of the events I'm supporting will be on Feb 28th, aimed at engaging young girls and women in STEM. Volunteer Needed - Speaker Coordinator

Hi folks, As we get closer to SCALE we're looking for a volunteer who might want to help with a bit of coordination on the speakers front. This person would take ownership of: - Answering questions from speakers about logistics. - Encouraging speakers to help promote their sessions on social media. - Collaborating with track leads onsite at SCALE to confirm speakers have arrived and are checked in. - Following up post show to get remaining slides etc. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please ping me off list. Hi, I see that we have a SCALE 16x volunteer form now.
