Maybe offer an AX.25 network at the conference that we can fall back to if wifi goes down. ;-)

P.S.: it just occurred to me, we might have already done that.

Hi....
Yes! Definitely have a training session the day before. I know one older HAM whose
General license has lapsed. Since he got his license a long, long time ago, he would definitely need a refresher (and some encouragement) before taking the test. He didn't even consider taking it this year.

Appears that we had lesser success with the HAM testing than we did last year. I think that this needs more promotion, and a whole HAM track and training the previous day to drive traffic to the testing.
Still, 8 more people we will see on the air!

We had only 12 candidates, who took a total of 17 exams.
Nobody who came in to upgrade their license passed their exam.
We had 8 new Tech licenses out of the session and one new General class licensee out of the exam. _______________________________________________ Scale-planning mailing list Scale-planning@lists.linuxfests.org https://lists.linuxfests.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/scale-planning
