As far as having a separate track, are you thinking about an event similar to the PDXPUG PostgreSQL Day, which was held at OSCON/UbuntuLive ?

Yes, I was the organzier (with Selena Deckelmen) of that event. We are about to have an additional PGDay in October, and would like to have a PGDay in Feb with you folks.
