Hi Ted, We just received his cancelation notice yesterday and just haven't had a chance to remove it yet. I've removed it now.
On that note, we now have an open slot for a talk around OpenData. Anyone have ideas?

Hi, (gender-neutral) guys.
I have a friend in Long Beach who's closely involved in their open data work and brought to my attention that this talk:
https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/15x/presentations/tale-two-cities-o pen-data-los-angeles-and-long-beach
Is on the web site (duh) but not on the schedule. His understanding is that the talk is canceled, and if so, the presence of the page above can put him in some political hot water. The open data stuff in LB is coordinated with their city government, and so: politics. Of course I'm trying to convince him to present something. :-)
Assuming that the state of the world is that the talk is canceled, can someone take down the page above. If that's not the state of the world, can someone educate me?
Thanks, folks!

I'll make a connection as soon as he tells me it's OK to do so.
