Yes, we definitely want to set up machines for a LAN Party. There was a surprising amount of energy for gaming at the last SCALE. For example, during Larry Cafiero's talk about community, about half way through someone mentioned games as a good way to introduce people to FOSS. The interaction in the group was wonderfully vibrant and games was the focus until the end of Larry's presentation.

one of our regular exhibitors might be willing to provide the hardware for this next year. we could put up one of the partitions in the back of the game room and have a relatively quiet/dark area for it. what do you folks think?
