I can receive and deliver to the venue. Have we considered large format poster pads instead?

Ya, a few months ago he said they no longer service LA. Something about an employee stealing all the whiteboards during the pandemic. He only does San Diego and SF. I dont know what his rates in 2023 would be but in 2019 they were $344.13 including markers and delivery.

in 2017 4x6 boards were $75 each from bulletin boards and more. pick up and drop off was $150.
iirc we got a $75 discount that year.

I dont have time at the moment to source one locally or deal with setup. If someone wants to volunteer to do that Im fine with buying them and then either tossing them or seeing if they can fit in storage.
Online purchases of a 8"x6" whiteboard came out to about $400 each after tax and shipping. The challenge is we can only receive shipments at the venue for a very short window on 3/8, so someone would need to receive the delivery. We'd also have to assemble it when it arrives.
Renting whiteboards used to be about $100-150 per week per board from the vendors we had in the past.

Instead of that, it would be much more cost effective to buy a couple and give them away afterwards.
Has any ofyou asked in your local Buy Nothing group or other local group whether you could borrow one for the event?

Unfortunately, it looks like they charge $1500 per whiteboard.
